Roy Manuel Hall was born on August 2, 1955 in Mobile, Alabama. He departed this world for glory on Sunday, September 5th, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of Orchard, Alabama.
He was a retiree from the University of South Alabama where he worked for 25 years as a plumber and worked his way up to Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and spending time with his family and countless friends.
He was born to his mother Mary Richardson who survives him. He was adopted and raised by her parents so his mother via adoption was also Nellie Hall and his dad via adoption was Luther Manuel Hall. Both of these parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister Diane Foster and his brothers Ray Hall, George Hall, William "Junior" Hall and David Richardson.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Judy Hall, his 4 sons: Roy (Belinda) Hall Jr, William "Billy" Hall, Matthew (Rebecca) Hall, and Alvin Levi Hall, his grandchildren: Brett (Emily) Roberts, Roy Hall III or "Trae" (and fiance Madison Joye), Shelby Kaystin Hall, and Alexis Briann Fowler, his 3 sisters: Peggy Spearman, Becky Richardson and Connie Pierce, as well as 2 brothers: Luther "Lue" Hall and Howard "Buddy" Richardson, his 3 great-grandchildren: Ryan Jase Duiett, Nolan Alexander Roberts, and Waylon Cooper, as well as a large extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held starting at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 13th, at Solid Rock Church on Tanner Williams Rd. Funeral services will follow at the same location at 1:00 PM.
