Phillip Paul Emmons

Obituary

Phillip Paul Emmons, age 71, passed away on December 1, 2020. 

Paul was  predeceased  by his father Johnnie W. Emmons and by his mother, Mazie Kennedy Emmons Lewis and his brother, Johnnie Lee Emmons. 

Paul is survived by his wife, Rhetta Lueders Emmons, his son Phillip “Bo” Emmons,  nieces Stephanie (Skipper) Malcom, Kathleen Parnell, sisters Sharon (Lawrence) Bolton, Phyllis Paula McKiinnell, cherished family friend Nina Wiese, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

Paul faithfully served his country in the United States Army.   

Visitation will be Friday December 4 at 9:00 am at Wilmer Baptist Church followed by a Celebration of Life service  at 10:00 am and graveside service at 11:00 am. 

Pallbearers will be his nephews Phillip McKinnell, Larry Bolton, Brian McKinnell, Dane Tomberlin, and friends Christian McGraw and James Busby. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Women's Resource Center.
