Patricia A. Johnson, (Patty), 60 yeards old, of Bayou La Batre, Alabama passed away on March 12, 2021.
Patty was born in Bayou La Batre, Alabama on February 8, 1961.
She went to Alba School from 1st - 12th grade.
Patty was survived by her daughters, Tricia Bosarge of Irvington and Jenny K. Thomas of Lordsburg, New Mexico. Her grand daughter Emily Scott of Vincennes, Indiana. Her brother, Buster Johnson of Coden, Alabama and sister Debbie Beckham (Johnson) and father, Clifford Johnson, of Irvington, Alabama.
Patty is preceded in death by her mother, Madeline Rhodes Johnson, brother John Dee Johnson, sister-in-law, Debby T. Johnson and her grand daughter, Jewel Harvey.
Patty loved her animals, dogs and cats. She loved her family and Jesus. She always said, "I love you." She her sunflowers that grew in the garden. She was always sharing pictures on Facebook of them. Her fondest memories growing up were our family vacations to the mountains. Six of us in a little rustic cabin on a mountain in Cheaha, and swimming in the lake at the bottom of the mountains. Also her trips to Tennessee to see her grand daughter, and vacations with our parents. The best memories were made in April of 2010 when we took our mother to the mountains for her last trip before she passed in August of 2010. We certainly made some fun and last memories. The funniest thing that trip was when the raccoon ran her out of the hot tub on the deck of the cabin. She could move pretty fast. But that might have been our fault for putting bread on the railing so it could have a snack while we watched through the windows. Patty had a big heart. She always wanted to help someone in need. Even when she didn't really have enough for herself. She loved everyone.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 22nd, from the Kenmar Family Funeral Home - Bayou Chapel at 12 PM. Visitation will take place before the service from 11 AM until 12 PM. Interment will follow the services at Oddfellows Cemetery.
