Lolita Amanda Young, 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 13, 2021. She was born December 1, 1957.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Marshall Harris Sr. and Virginia Carpenter Harris; and three brothers: Gary Heathcock, Gilbert Heathcock, and Charles Marshall Harris, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Aaron Gayle Young; her children Amanda (Will) Smith, Josh Young, Caleb Young, and Hannah Young; her grandchildren Colin Smith, Owen Smith, Falynn Lunn, and Liam Young; her siblings Sam (Erlinda) Heathcock, Patsy (Larry) Smith, Mitchell (Debbie) Heathcock, Donna (John) Caraballo, Fred Harris, Terry Harris and Stewart (Leslie) Harris; as well as many other family, friends, and loved ones.
Lolita was a dedicated wife, a wonderful mom, and an amazing Maw Maw. She was very proud of her family and loved being with her grandchildren. She enjoyed for friends and family to come visit the farm to ride horses, to go fishing, to feed the cows and collect chicken eggs with her. She lived a beautiful life. Her positivity was contagious and her presence would light up a room. She never met a stranger and touched so many lives along the way. Lolita was a Christian woman who loved Jesus. She had an unwavering faith in God. Over the years, she was always very involved with her church and especially loved working with the children.
Lolita was an extraordinary woman that was loved, cherished and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 at Kenmar Family Funeral Home - Tanner Williams Chapel. Public visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Pierce Creek Cemetery.
