Obituary

Lee (Bubba) Lerone Busby, 75, passed away on May 15th, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ophelia and Edward Lee Busby, his son Robert Edward Busby, and his two sisters Julia Inez Nicholas and Remola Marie Bond.

Bubba is survived by his wife of 58 years Glenda Busby; his children James Lee Busby (Pam), Theresa Steiner (Dwayne), and Kimberly Johnson (Lyle); his siblings Louise Bartlett and Lisa Busby; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; his stepmother Jenny Busby; and a host of nieces and nephews; a special friend Allen Grubs; as well as many other friends and family.

He was a family man who dearly loved his family and friends. Bubba was also a talented brickmason. He loved his church family at Cross & Crown Family Worship Center where his son James Lee Busby serves as the pastor.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 24th, at Cross & Crown Family Worship Center (8851 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, AL 36619). The family will receive friends for visitation from 11AM until the service begins at 12PM. Graveside service to follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
