Doyle (Jim) Wayne Ellette age 75 of Irvington, Al born December 14, 1946 Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home April 4, 2022 surrounded by loved ones and his pets.
Preceded in death by Parents, Earl Wayne and Odessa Ellette, Okemah, Ok.
Survived by, Wife, Brenda Littlefield Ellette, Irvington, Al.
Sister, Linda Kay Terry (Charles), Meeker, Ok. Daughter, Kay Lynn Herrin, Lindale, Tx.
Son, Steven Saylor Ellette ( Stacey), Aragon, Ga. Grandchildren, Zackary Herrin, Stephanie Ellette, Michael Messner (Mia), Dawson Ellette (Breanna), Tristan Ellette, Nathan Messner.
Great grandchildren, Mason Lee Ellette, Jensen Saylor Ellette, Emma Rose Granados, Bryson Messner, Paislee Messner, Bentley Isayah Hartley, Isabella Noelle Hartley, Damian Alexander Hartley.

He was a graduate of Okemah High School, Ok and worked in the shipping industry for nearly 40 years. He was a Seafarers International Union member which gave him the opportunity to see the world. As a Boatswain, he was the big man in charge. Big Jim was his nickname and he got the job done right. He could make you laugh and steal your heart with his bright blue eyes. He was a wonderful man and was dearly loved.
Life’s roughest storms prove the strength of our anchors.
