Obituary

Our beloved Christopher Michael Seward, affectionately known as Bub or Bubby, left this earth May 16th, 2022. He was born in Mobile, AL and spent many years in Gulf Breeze, FL before returning to Theodore, AL as a young adult. He’s remembered as an old soul with a heart of kindness and love for every person he met. He was a true conversationalist, being able to talk with anyone for hours about anything, everything, or nothing. He had a passion for culinary from across the world as well as a great appreciation for a good Irish Whiskey. Chris spent time playing his guitar, mandolin, and harmonica with friends and family. He found joy as a welder at Wilson Bros. Welding and Repair crafting projects big and small for his mother. And his pride was his pup, Brady. 

Christopher was preceded in passing by his grandmother, Patsy Dawn Blackmon. His guiding light and partner in mischief, “Guga,” helped raise Chris throughout his life.

He is survived by his mother and father, Lori and Edward Seward, and devoted brother, Edward “Trey” Seward, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday May 26th, 2022, at 5pm at First Baptist Tillman’s Corner Church. 

A reception will be held at Lori and Edward Seward's house following the services.
