We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Bayou Chapel
Long time resident of Bayou La Batre, current resident of Mobile, Camille Barber, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones, on January 3, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Wesley Barber, Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Annette Barber, her brothers Charles "Bubba" Barber (Kristi), Johnny Barber (Brittany), and Charlie Barber, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
Pall bearers are:
Shayne Barber, Todd Barber, Zack Barber, BJ Smith, Bubba Smith and Robert Sealy.
Those that knew Camille usually described her as a sweet, kind soul who loved God and her church. She never said a cross word about anyone and had a funny comeback when least expected. There is a hole left in our hearts now that she’s gone, but Heaven gained one beautiful angel. Save our seats, Camille.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The American Cancer Society in Camille’s name.
Her funeral will be held Bayou Wesleyan Church, on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 12 pm. There will be a public visitation from 11 am - 12 pm. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Oddfellow Cemetery.
