Obituary

Allen Lee Young of Mobile, Alabama, age 83, passed away on May 25, 2022. Allen retired after 40 years of service from Scott Paper Company/Kimberly Clark as an Electrician. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Lovie Ethel and James Odom Young; Brothers; Henry, Buford and Francis Young; and his oldest son, Anthony Lee Young.

Allen is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Shirley Jean Young and his sons Eric Lee Young and James Lee Young (Dawn); Daughter in law, Rhonda Young; Beloved grandchildren; Jessica (Sean), Jamielee, Anthony (Morgan), Jarrett, Austin, and Jonas. Precious great grandchildren; Brock, Brielle, Carson and Bristol. His siblings; Johnny Young and Alice Faye Thompson; as well as other nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Allen’s memorial service will be held at Kenmar Funeral Home, Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 2pm.
